Dear people,
This is officially gonna be my last article that I am writing, at least for the next six months. Last Monday I went to the audition for the upcoming musical Marie Antoinette (www.ma-bremen.de). I brought my audition map and presented the three songs „The Girls Gets Around“, „Gebet“ and „Gethsemane“. The jury also filmed the audition since someone from the creative team was missing. Afterwards they told that they were satisfied and that I had to go to the so called „Fitting“. Which means that every single part of your body (almost) is getting measured for the costumes and wigs. Two days later I got a phonecall telling me that they offered me a position in the ensemble for the Europe-premiere of Marie Antoinette. I got overwhelmed and the last couple of days I have been busy organising my life. From the 1st of December I will be living in Bremen and then the 30st of January I will have premiere of the musical at Bremen Musical Theater (www.musical–theater–bremen.de). That means that I will not be able to write for a while since I am gonna rehearse six days a week. Next week is gonna be my last week in school and it is gonna be hard to say goodbye to some people. Although, I am just gonna be 1 hour away from the nicest city in the world… Hamburg. And believe me, I’ll be back… 😉
I wish all of my readers all the best until next time, and hope to see some of you in the theatre?!
And before it is too late… Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and all of that….
Your Freddy
Die Liebe hemmet nichts; sie kennt nicht Tür noch Riegel
Und dringt durch alles sich;
Sie ist ohn Anbeginn, schlug ewig ihre Flügel
Und schlägt sie ewiglich.
Matthias Claudius (1740-1815)
